TR (aka Ted Ray) has been playing sax and flute in bands since junior high school. Studied with Jerry Coker in college, performed in various rock, jazz, and soul bands, either with horn sections or as solo instrumentalist. Played with Gary US Bonds backup band during the 70's, including Don Kirshner's "Rock & Roll Review" television show at Capital Center, DC, and backup for many "Rock & Roll Revival" groups and shows, including Madison Square Garden in 1975. Groups he performed with included “The Argonauts” (1966), “The Strange Haze” (1967), “The Ambassadors” (1969), “The Sound System” (1970), “The Expressions” (1971), “Autumn” (1972), “The Interludes” (1975), Gary US Bonds (1977), “Studio” (1990), as well as others he can’t seem to remember . TR also did many, many studio sessions at Daxwood Productions (Daxwood.com) over the years, and he set up & managed around 100 MP3.com websites for artists during the 1990’s.
